About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Investment Analyst to join our Mutual Funds Team in Frankfurt. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our investment decisions and providing expert analysis on mutual funds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a communication point-of-contact between our team and customers
  • Enhance our analytical capabilities and methodologies
  • Evaluate funds using our established ratings methodology and summarize the results in rating reports
  • Plan and host webinars on investment topics, participate in congresses and events as an external speaker and representative of our company
  • Monitor existing ratings and recommend reviews and changes as needed
  • Conduct discussions with clients, investors, and asset managers, and provide presentations, explanations, and briefings at a highly professional level
  • Show flexibility in accepting tasks and duties and carrying them out as directed
  • Work closely with other Mutual Funds team members, staff, and management
  • Produce high-quality, insightful, and forward-looking research and analytical comments on a timely basis
  • Inform colleagues on new topics and pass on knowledge within the team
Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience in the financial industry, reflecting deep analytical skills with a solid understanding of mutual funds
  • Bachelor or master degree in finance, banking, economics, statistics, mathematics, or equivalent qualification
  • Extensive knowledge of financial markets and asset classes, especially equities, fixed-income, and multi-asset
  • Willingness to take responsibility with an entrepreneurial attitude
  • Independent thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative, self-starter, versatile, inquisitive, and detail-oriented personality
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and motivate others to do the same
  • Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) computer skills
  • Excellent written and oral German language skills, at least very good oral and written English language skills
  • CIIA, CFA, or similar is a plus
