We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineering Professional in Leipzig, Dresden or Jena for a permanent full-time position.

About the RoleYou will be part of our solution engineering team with a unique hands-on approach that limits team size to people who stay close to customers and translate business needs into market-leading technical solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesYou will participate in and lead architecture discussions with clients and our architects and platform team to define best approaches.
You will also participate in design reviews and recommend improvements.
You will be part of a team committed to writing test-backed, clean, and reusable code.
Your responsibilities include:
- Contributing to customized omnichannel solution development.
- Participating in all phases of software development: from architecture and design to development and testing in an agile team using the Scrum model.
- Controlling the complete stack from backend to web applications, developing new features in close cooperation with involved teams.
- Assisting in risk assessment and mitigation activities.
- Application development and implementation, as well as technical reviews in the post-launch phase.
To succeed in this role, you should have a University degree or successfully completed an IT-related education program.
You should have at least 5 years of professional development experience ideally using ReactJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, NodeJS, or similar languages.
You should be confident with AWS Cloud components and relevant services.
You should have experience with business-critical SaaS applications based on MicroServices Architecture.
You should have a general understanding of Service-Oriented approach, Domain-Driven Design, S.O.L.I.D. principles.
You should have experience collaborating with other Engineers in planning, prioritizing, and executing assigned tasks within deadlines.
You should develop CI/CD-conform and test-compatible code.
Experience in Salesforce with Service Cloud or Sales Cloud is advantageous.
You should have good written and spoken English language skills.
