About the Role

The Global Immigration Strategy Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the marketing and business development strategy for Fragomen's German practice.

This newly created role will work closely with the Senior Marketing and Business Development Director and the Frankfurt Partners to drive forward growth and profile-raising opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a strong understanding of Fragomen's German practice and market, and key focus areas and priorities in line with the Business Development plan.
  • Working with the German Partners to identify potential business opportunities with new and existing clients through market research and tracking client, sector and competitor news and information.
  • Maintaining the marketing content calendar and identifying key trends and topics for marketing campaigns, collaborating closely with the Comms/PR/social media team to drive and support profile-raising and visibility.
  • Developing and maintaining German practice marketing materials and maintaining professional biographies for staff.
  • Supporting the pitch process, including coordinating with teams across the firm and leading on drafting, follow-up and tracking in our CRM system for allocated opportunities.
  • Developing and maintaining the Frankfurt client and contact list and data in our CRM system.
  • Collaborating closely with Fragomen's Communications & Public Relations Director and developing and maintaining relationships with approved media outlets in Germany.
  • Managing partnerships with membership groups and Chambers of Commerce to maximise opportunities, including profile-raising initiatives.
  • Building strong relationships with colleagues across the region and wider firm to identify and promote opportunities for collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key qualifications and skills include:

  • At least three years of relevant professional experience in marketing and business development, preferably gained within a professional services environment.
  • German native speaker level and fluency in English. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong writing and editing skills for drafting concise and polished communications.
  • Proven track record of dealing with and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a broader collaborative team.
  • A can-do, proactive attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and pivot, as necessary, in an environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.

  • Knowledge of immigration and global mobility space a plus.
  • Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SalesForce, InterAction or other CRM programs advantageous.

About the Team

The role will work closely with the EMEA-based Marketing and Business Development team, German Partners and other immigration professionals, as well as the wider Marketing and Business Development team across the Fragomen global network.

Globally, the marketing and business development function is made up of 30+ professionals covering the full range of strategic marketing and business development support for the firm and promoting exceptional client service.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is approximately £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
