Model Risk Management Internship

Commerzbank AG Deutschland is seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our Model Risk Management team as an intern. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in model risk management and develop essential skills for a successful career in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Model Risk Management team to monitor and report on model risks across the organization
  • Conduct data analysis and create reports to track and communicate model risk metrics
  • Contribute to the enhancement of model risk management processes and procedures through active involvement
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to learn about best practices and industry trends in model risk management, including AI and climate models
  • Take on diverse projects and tasks to support the overall goals of the model risk management team
Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in economics, finance, data science, or natural science
  • Genuine interest in risk management, financial modeling, and data analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant analytical tools
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a diverse team setting
