About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to lead our automotive logistics operation in Stuttgart, Germany. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a large-scale contract logistics operation, overseeing daily logistics activities, and ensuring alignment with industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Manage and motivate a team of over 300 employees to achieve operational success.
    • Foster a high-performance culture and provide leadership to team leaders and staff.
    • Promote employee engagement and professional growth.
  • Operational Oversight:
    • Oversee all aspects of daily logistics operations, including transport, warehousing, and inventory management.
    • Ensure alignment with automotive logistics industry standards and client requirements.
    • Continuously improve KPIs, streamline processes, and enhance efficiency across the site.
  • Client and Contract Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for a major automotive logistics client.
    • Ensure service excellence and compliance with contractual obligations and industry regulations.
    • Collaborate with the client to develop solutions and deliver outstanding service quality.
  • Strategic and Financial Management:
    • Develop and oversee budgets, ensuring financial targets are achieved.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement process improvements.
    • Contribute to long-term strategies that drive growth and innovation.

A salary of €120,000 - €150,000 per annum is offered for this position, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time role with opportunities for career advancement within our company.
