Professorship in Social and Organisational Psychology

We are seeking an exceptional academic to join our team as a Professor in Social and Organisational Psychology at the University of Cologne.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will be part of the Institute of Sociology and Social Psychology and contribute to research, teaching, and academic administration in the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of high-quality research in social and organisational psychology and be able to publish in top-tier journals in the field.
Responsibilities- Conduct high-quality research in social and organisational psychology and contribute to one of the Faculty's key research areas, such as the Center for Social and Economic Behaviour (C-SEB) or the Key Research Initiative Behavioural Management Science.
- Teach social and organisational psychology courses in English and, in the long run, German, and participate in the development of new degree programs.
- Contribute to the international visibility of the Institute and the Faculty.
The successful candidate should have a doctoral degree in psychology or a related field and a strong research profile that fits the Institute of Sociology and Social Psychology and/or one of the key research areas of the Faculty.
The candidate should also have demonstrated the ability to offer high-quality and innovative teaching in social and organisational psychology at different levels.
