Indirect Tax Expert

Xylem Water Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Indirect Tax Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our global tax strategy team, you will be responsible for providing indirect tax advice to various business groups and ensuring the efficient management of VAT compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage VAT compliance and ensure the efficient management of VAT tax audits
- Coordinate VAT compliance and ensure the efficient management of VAT tax audits
- Develop a coherent and proactive indirect tax strategy to effectively manage and identify VAT risks
- Act as a center of excellence for indirect tax issues within Xylem Water Solutions
- Ensure VAT rules and documentation are incorporated into Xylem Water Solutions' procedures
- Maintain strong relationships with growth centers and interface with outside tax consultants
- 4+ years of tax or indirect tax experience, preferably in manufacturing, distribution, and customs
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field, ideally in combination with a tax degree or certification
- Experience with European statutory and GAAP (IFRS) reporting, as well as VAT reporting standards
- Experience in a complex, US multinational environment
- Business fluent English, German would be great, additional languages nice to have
