Product Manager Job Description

SongPush is seeking a seasoned Product Manager to lead the development of our all-in-one creator marketing platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining our product vision and strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring our product offerings resonate with user needs and target market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy & Vision Development
    • Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap that guides all product development efforts.
    • Establish and communicate a compelling product vision that aligns with the company's overall goals and market opportunities.
    • Develop and optimize monetization strategies to maximize product profitability and ensure sustainable revenue growth.
  • Product Development & Management
    • Lead the creation and optimization of user flows to enhance user experience and engagement across the platform.
    • Develop and define complex logic and dependencies within the platform, ensuring these are clearly conceptualized, validated, and effectively communicated to the development team for implementation.
    • Create sketches and work closely with UI/UX designers to craft user-centric designs that drive engagement and satisfaction.
    • Leverage strong experience in Social Media and/or Creator Marketing to anticipate market trends and customer needs.
    • Identify market needs and customer pain points to guide product decisions and development priorities.
    • Oversee key aspects of the product lifecycle, including maintenance and post-launch iteration, but prioritize the development and implementation of new, innovative logics and features that drive product growth and differentiation.
    • Collaborate with management to ensure that tools like Product Board or are meticulously used and maintained, taking full ownership of the systems' upkeep.
    • Identify and implement optimizations in product processes, ensuring efficiency and alignment with strategic objectives.
    • Ensure all product documentation is comprehensive, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant teams.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration & Optimization
    • Act as the key link between operational departments and the development team to ensure alignment on product needs, goals, and execution.
    • Collect and analyze user feedback, transforming it into actionable insights for product improvement and innovation.
    • Maintain regular communication with the CTO and management, taking ownership of these exchanges to ensure alignment with broader company goals.
  • Product Launch & Iteration
    • Develop and execute effective launch strategies to ensure successful product launches that meet market demands and enhance platform value.
    • Establish mechanisms for collecting and analyzing user feedback to drive continuous improvement of product features.
    • Iterate on product features based on user feedback and data analysis to ensure the product remains competitive and aligned with user needs.
  • Team Management & Future Leadership
    • Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and the ability to efficiently coordinate and manage a product team, even as it grows in the future.
    • Have a proven history of leading teams in past roles.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making
    • Establish and monitor KPIs and other performance metrics to track product success and identify areas for improvement, ensuring the product meets business objectives and delivers value.
    • Conduct thorough market research and user analysis to inform product decisions and ensure market fit.
    • Develop and maintain high standards for product quality, conducting regular audits and ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in product management with a strong track record in leading successful product initiatives.
  • Extensive experience in Social Media and/or Creator Marketing, with experience in marketplace platforms considered highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage high-performing product teams.
  • Deep understanding of monetization strategies and their application in digital products.
  • High expertise in Product Board, or other product management tools; expertise with Jira required.
  • Strong experience in creating and optimizing user flows.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Ability to manage and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience with marketplace platforms preferred.
  • Having successfully built any revenue-generating business, product, or tool by/for yourself is a strong plus.
