As a Cost Optimization Specialist, you will be part of our project teams at international and national customers, developing effective product cost optimization initiatives. You will bring your technical understanding in cost value engineering to different industries and products, making price outliers transparent and deriving target costs for new developments.Your Mission
- You will work closely with our customers to understand their product development needs and develop effective cost optimization strategies.
- You will analyze product costs and identify areas for improvement, developing targeted initiatives to reduce costs.
- You will collaborate with our team to develop and enhance our methods and databases in Cost Value Engineering, supporting knowledge transfer to other H&Z projects and practices.
Your Profile
- A master's degree from a well-known university in the field of electrical or mechanical engineering.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in product development or manufacturing, especially in the fields of product cost optimization and value analysis.
- You are fluent in German and English, and perhaps another foreign language as well.
- You have a strong analytical and structured way of thinking and working, and enjoy working in a team.
