Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Business Partner to join our team at the Radisson Hotel Group - Area Support Office. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for leading the accounting business partner team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial services to our hotels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of accounting business partners and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of financial services.
  • Process Delivery: Ensure the delivery of accounting processes and provide expertise to support the implementation of new processes.
  • Finance Service Delivery: Collaborate with the finance service delivery network to support ad-hoc questions or incidents that require Radisson insights and knowledge.
  • Finance Hotel Activities: Drive the implementation and standardization of finance hotel activities within the area and ensure documentation is up to date.
  • Support to Hotels and BPO: Support hotel teams and BPO in defined activities as required, including month-end closings and year-end closings.
  • Non-Standard Activities: Support the BPO partner by solving non-standard activities in accounting/operations, such as reconciliation of accounts and clearing of dummy accounts.
  • Transaction Monitoring: Conduct regular validation checks of transactions and monitor the performance of the BPO partner.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure that all agreed finance processes are compliant and complete, and proactively keep up to date with area-specific accounting rules and regulation changes.
  • Training and Development: Provide training for finance and non-finance employees regarding processes and enablers.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in ad-hoc projects as defined by the direct manager.

Requirements

  • Professional Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience as a Financial Accountant, ideally within the hotel industry.
  • Education: Completed studies in the field of finance, accounting, or a similar degree.
  • Leadership Experience: 1-2 years of experience in leading a small team or willingness to become a people manager.
  • Language Skills: Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Analytical Skills: Outstanding analytical skills.
