About the Role
Evonik is seeking a skilled Tax Expert to join our team. As a Tax Expert, you will play a crucial role in shaping our tax strategy and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver tax plans for significant elements of our tax systems.
- Conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.
- Use data management systems to deliver prescribed outcomes.
- Prepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reports.
- Edit documents in line with organizational style guidelines and prepare information for publication.
- Develop and deliver financial guidelines and protocols to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practice.
Requirements
- University degree (First degree)
- Substantial general work experience together with comprehensive job-related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level.
- Experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior managers.
- Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to act independently while guiding and training others on achieving full compliance with applicable rules and regulations in management and/or operations.
- Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on analyzing data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making.
- Applies comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently while providing guidance and training to others on acquiring, organizing, protecting and processing data to fulfill business objectives.
- Independently supports business processes with comprehensive understanding and effective use of standard office equipment and standard software packages, while also providing guidance and training to others.
- Applies comprehensive knowledge to act independently while providing guidance and training to others on using clear and effective verbal communications skills to express ideas, request actions and formulate plans or policies.
- Uses a comprehensive understanding of numerical concepts to perform mathematical operations such as report analysis independently while providing guidance and training to others.
