Chief Cyber Security Architect

At Cargolux Airlines International SA, we are seeking a highly skilled Chief Cyber Security Architect to join our team in Luxembourg. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing security architecture solutions that meet our organizational needs and regulatory requirements.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Cyber Security Architect to join our team in Luxembourg. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing security architecture solutions that meet our organizational needs and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement security architecture solutions that meet organizational needs and regulatory requirements
• Ensure all security measures are up-to-date and effective against current threats
• Translates technology and environmental conditions (e.g., law and regulation) into security designs and processes
• Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses
• Implement risk management strategies to address identified vulnerabilities and threats
• Develop, document, and enforce security policies and procedures
• Regularly review and update policies to adapt to evolving security landscapes
• Ensure all security practices comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Conduct audits and assessments to verify compliance and address any deficiencies
• Develop and maintain incident response plans
• Lead and coordinate response efforts during security incidents, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Work closely with IT, compliance, and business units to align security initiatives with business objectives
• Mentor and guide the security team, promoting a culture of security awareness

Requirements:

• Technical diploma with focus in IT. A Master degree in computer science (or any other relevant field) would be an asset
• At least 7 years of experience in an IT Operations Center with focus on cybersecurity
• Strong skills in IT network technologies, cloud technologies and cybersecurity
• Good knowledge of IT systems and network infrastructure
• Understanding of network architecture and services
• Experience with intrusion detection methodologies for detecting host and/or network-based intrusion incidents
• Experience with log review & live response
• Familiar with application monitoring concepts
• Willing to attend regular trainings and stay up-to-date with new technologies
• Fluent in English (spoken & written); any additional language will be considered a strong asset
• Good problem solving skills, analytical approach and research-oriented

• Comfortable working in a multicultural fast-pacing environment

Working Conditions:

• Permanent, full-time contract based in our HQ in Luxembourg
• Occasional travel may be required
