Role Overview

As a Vice President in the Fund Finance team at ING Luxembourg, you will play a key role in the origination, execution, and portfolio management of fund finance transactions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading European funds finance team and contribute to the growth and success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate and execute fund finance transactions for subscription finance and portfolio leverage (NAV-based) fund finance transactions
  • Identify fund finance transaction opportunities and conduct market research
  • Attend client meetings and industry events, and prepare marketing materials
  • Work with ING's coverage, financial markets, and lending teams to coordinate client interactions
  • Review and analyze fund documentation, structures, and investment portfolios to consider lending opportunities
  • Complete and negotiate term sheets, RfPs, and other pitching documents

Credit and Execution

  • Structure portfolio leverage (NAV-based) subscription finance lending transactions
  • Prepare credit proposals for new and existing transactions
  • Work with ING Risk to seek approval for transactions and discuss new deals
  • Review and monitor client reporting information
  • Ensure limits and investor exposures are correctly booked in ING's loan systems and reflected in FF records on transaction closing
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks related to internal audits and requests for information/analysis from Management

Requirements

  • Fluent English and French language skills
  • Strong credit skills and excellent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Extensive transaction execution experience within an international financial institution
  • At least 4 years' experience structuring funds finance transactions and a proven track record in execution
  • Relationship management experience from a client-facing role in a funds finance team
