We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for testing, installing, reconditioning, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical malfunctions in various target lifting systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Test and install electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Repair and replace parts, including relays, switches, rectifiers, diodes, and other components
- Use blueprints, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals to troubleshoot and repair systems
- Work with complex electronic and mechanical systems, often with limited documentation
- Collaborate with IT Operations teams to resolve technical issues
- Completed vocational training in a relevant trade (at least 30 months)
- 2 years of experience in a similar role, or 8 years of specialized experience with 3 years at the wage group 5 or equivalent level
- German driver's license class B
- German Language Proficiency level B2
