Job Description

As a key member of the SSI SCHÄFER team, you will play a crucial role in driving procurement excellence and strategic sourcing initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective procurement strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects aimed at standardizing, digitalizing, and optimizing procurement processes and methods globally.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Collaborate with the VP Procurement Excellence to develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy that drives business growth and cost savings.
  • Procurement Performance Management: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure procurement effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze market trends and develop strategies to improve supply chain resilience and agility.
  • Change Management: Develop and implement change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new procurement methods, processes, and tools.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or supply chain management.
  • Experience: Minimum three years of experience in procurement or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing company.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of procurement processes, methods, and tools; excellent project management and presentation skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
