We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Excellence Leader to join our team at ALTANA Management Services GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the strategic development and implementation of our procurement organization, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and driving excellence in all aspects of procurement.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a global category management process, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
- Lead a team of 6 employees, providing guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of procurement objectives.
- Optimize, digitize, and automate procurement processes, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Establish and maintain a robust supplier management program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and minimizing supply risks.
- Develop and implement a risk management strategy, identifying and mitigating potential risks to the organization.
- Implement the ALTANA forecast for the global raw materials portfolio, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of materials.
- Conceive and organize procurement training programs, enhancing the skills and knowledge of procurement staff.
- Develop and implement a cross-divisional target setting process, aligning procurement objectives with business goals and driving performance.
- Master's or bachelor's degree in economics, engineering, chemistry, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in procurement, preferably in the chemical industry and international project management.
- Experience with sustainability and regulatory topics in procurement, including LkSG and CO2 reporting.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and driving results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a global environment.
