We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Team Lead to oversee material planning, purchasing prices, and inventory management for our global operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for a team of 5, purchasing finished products across various industry segments. To succeed in this role, you must have proven leadership experience and a strong understanding of supply chain management. Your expertise in developing and implementing effective procurement strategies, policies, and processes will drive our company's growth and success. Key Responsibilities: **Operational Responsibilities**
* Oversee material planning, purchasing prices, and inventory management.
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Regularly review and manage purchasing forecasts.
* Develop and implement material planning and procurement strategies across various product categories.
* Manage and execute purchasing price controls.
* Perform day-to-day purchasing activities.
**Team Leadership Responsibilities**
* Provide technical leadership and manage the purchasing team.
* Enhance and refine the key performance indicator system.
* Drive continuous improvement of operational processes.
* Train and mentor team members.
* Participate in personnel selection and conduct employee interviews.
**Your Profile**
* A degree in purchasing, business administration, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of supply chain management.
* Proven experience in managing a purchasing department.
* Expertise in developing and implementing effective procurement strategies, policies, and processes.
* Proficient in SAP (SD, MM, MW).
* Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
* Fluent in both German and English, with proficiency in Chinese being a plus but not essential.
