About the Role

CureVac Corporate Services GmbH, a leading biopharmaceutical company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior IFRS Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate Services department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of our IFRS consolidated financial statements and other financial reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for IFRS accounting topics, including management and Executive Board (Audit Committee)
  • Prepare technical statements (accounting memos) and ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards
  • Implement new or amended accounting standards and develop accounting guidelines and processes
  • Contribute to the preparation and audit of our IFRS consolidated financial statements and other financial reports
  • Prepare IFRS-related SOX controls and ensure smooth handling of all accounting issues
  • Develop and conduct in-house IFRS trainings
Requirements
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of relevant experience in IFRS accounting / financial reporting; experience with audits is an asset
  • Sound knowledge of IFRS, certification in IFRS is desired
  • Experience in global business environments encompassing international legal entities is a plus
  • High ethical standards and integrity to handle sensitive financial information
  • Strong business acumen and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills with a strong hands-on approach
  • Strong communication skills and team orientation in a dynamic environment
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills
  • Fluency in German and English
