Team Leader

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Gatehouse Operations team at PreZero. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our gatehouse, including the management of personnel, visitors, and external deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of approximately 10 staff members, providing guidance and direction to achieve set objectives.
• Develop and implement effective coaching and training programs to enhance team performance and skills.
• Oversee the control of access to the site, including the management of visitor lists and the provision of security briefings to external personnel.
• Operate and maintain the weighbridge, ensuring accurate weighing and documentation of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Manage the administration of the barkasse, including timely reconciliation and accounting.

Requirements

• Proven leadership and management experience, with a strong track record of team development and performance improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in logistics or a related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with SAP would be an advantage.
