Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global R&D Director to lead our Sensing and Control team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in R&D management, with a focus on innovation, process improvement, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the R&D global team, including support for innovation processes, investments, and alignment with the business strategy.
  • Implement standardized development structures and processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the organization.
  • Monitor global market trends and competitive developments to inform strategic decisions and drive business growth.
  • Develop and implement R&D strategies, resource planning, and multi-project management to achieve business objectives.
  • Drive the optimization and expansion of global structures and processes, ensuring alignment with company standards.
  • Oversee research and development project progress, ensuring timely completion and budget management.
  • Implement self-financing cost centers through development funds and sample purchases, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Develop and present strategic technology, product, and system roadmaps to stakeholders, driving business growth and innovation.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of management experience in R&D, with a focus on industrial electronic systems.
  • Strong understanding of R&D processes, material and manufacturing processes, innovation, and project management in an industrial environment.
  • Experience in multi-project management, financial and cost management, and new business opportunity identification.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to travel internationally, with a minimum of 50% of time spent abroad.
