HITACHI ENERGY GERMANY AG is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Expert to join our team. This unique opportunity will challenge you to design and optimize dry-type transformers, working closely with our cross-functional teams.

About the Role

  • You will participate in electrical design projects, focusing on cost-optimal solutions and collaboration with our R&D teams.
  • Interactive simulations, including electromagnetic, electrostatic, and surge voltage analysis, are essential aspects of your work.
  • Cost-out projects will be a significant part of your responsibilities, aiming to reduce costs or enhance performance.
  • Measurement analysis and optimization of calculated losses, short-circuit voltages, sound pressure levels, and excess temperatures are crucial tasks.
  • You will collaborate with mentors to calculate costs and assess risks.

Your Background

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering is a requirement for this position.
  • You should be eager to learn about dry-type transformers, electrical calculation processes, and tools.
  • Knowledge of Finite Element Method and software is highly valued.
  • A strong technical, analytical affinity combined with a business mindset is essential.
  • Independence, structure, and a solution-oriented approach, combined with quick learning, are key attributes for success in this role.
  • Fluent English and minimum B1-level German knowledge are required.
  • A valid permanent work permit to work in Europe is necessary.
  • International mobility is essential for this position.
