Senior Android Automotive Engineer

Project Overview:
Luxoft is seeking a skilled professional to strengthen our team for a large engagement with a prominent OEM. The project involves the development of a converged Instrument cluster/Infotainment Android project, focusing on overall system integration and embedded software development for the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement the system architecture of the project, ensuring compliance with Android Automotive operating system requirements.
Provide technical guidance to the development team on topics such as Android VHAL, Android Automotive Framework, and Car API.
Participate in the design and development of Android Automotive applications for the project.
Ensure the implementation of requirements defined in CDD, CTS, and other relevant documents.

Requirements:
University degree in Vehicle Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent).
5+ years of experience in automotive Android domain.
Practical experience with Android GAS certification (preferable).
Expert knowledge in Android OS architecture and design.
Software architecture and design expertise.
HW resource allocation: RAM/CPU/NVM.
Practical knowledge of automotive software development processes, especially Agile software development.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
Knowledge of AutoSAR classic (4.2 Vector) SSD/Architect.

Application Level:
PWR management, Vehicle communication, Diagnosis, Security.
C-lang, MicroSAR Vector tools, Git.
Knowledge of AutoSAR adaptive + QNX OS + Qt HMI connectors MW: Vehicle communication, Diagn/Security, LifeCycle/Health components.
C++ lang, Git, Vector Adaptive tools.
Expert knowledge in HW buses: CAN, UART, Ethernet, i2c/SPI, i2s/a2.
