Kitchen Operations Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our team at Bella & Bona Gmbh. As a key member of our kitchen operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and delegating responsibility to staff.
- Maintain and ensure unit compliance with Bella & Bona policies and procedures, inventory procedures, and all applicable HACCP guidelines.
- Coordinate with the city manager to create, maintain, and implement all unit standard operating procedures.
- Assist in controlling food costs and usage by following proper procedures, standard recipes, and waste control procedures.
- Directly supervise all assigned subordinate staff and evaluate employee performance, providing guidance and feedback as needed.
- Oversee daily prep to ensure operation has the appropriate amount of product for the day and that the product meets our quality standards.
- Perform daily line checks before production and detailed station closing, and assist with daily and weekly inventory.
- Manage daily and weekly deep cleaning and facility maintenance duties, maintaining appropriate cleaning schedules for kitchen floors, mats, walls, hoods, other equipment, and food storage areas.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong track record of success in previous assignments demonstrating upward career mobility. The ideal candidate will have:
- Specialized or technical training.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a high-volume full-service kitchen environment.
- One year plus experience in a supervisory role within a high-volume full-service kitchen environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of pertinent health and safety laws and regulations.
