About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our team at adidas as a Financial Consultant. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in providing financial guidance and support to our business partners across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with assigned business functions and senior management to drive financial decision-making and strategy.
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage cost objects and support cost object owners in all financial tasks, including creation and changes of primary data, cost planning and booking, and investment planning and booking.
- Perform month-end OPEX and CAPEX closing in collaboration with the accounting team, ensuring compliance with accounting policy and IFRS standards.
- Manage intangible assets to ensure correct Net Book Value and monthly Amortization run.
- Support the creation of business cases for planned investments, challenging underlying assumptions and ensuring standard format approaches are followed.
- Perform postmortem analysis on executed business cases to determine business case quality and related lessons learned.
- Develop and implement adequate communication packages to present derived results, recommendations, and solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art analytic tools to drive business insights and decision-making.
- Develop new processes, standards, or operational plans and deliver results with direct impact on targets.
- Significantly contribute to the achievement of overall HQ Finance and Value Creation Management strategy.
- Identify significant improvement potential through variance analysis, derive solutions, and facilitate related decisions.
- Manage and execute standardized reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
- Create new and improved working methods for entire processes and systems.
- Lead medium- to large-sized projects in finance, implement findings, and ensure sustainability of achievements.
- Ensure smooth operation of the day-to-day business, systems, and working methods by taking full ownership for related actions.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration/Finance/Controlling/International Management/Economics
