ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Corporate Communications Intern, you will play a vital role in assisting our team with both internal and external communication efforts. Collaborating closely with colleagues across various markets in Central Europe, you will gain valuable insights into BCG's employee communications and media relations within Germany.


The Corporate Communications team is responsible for shaping BCG's image and messaging, both internally and externally, targeting employees, journalists, and the general public. Key responsibilities include managing the public profile of our regional leadership and strategically planning diverse communication initiatives.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop engaging content and visual materials for various communication channels, including town hall meetings, newsletters, and videos.
  • Contribute to the creation of innovative concepts for internal communications.
  • Monitor media trends and identify opportunities for promoting BCG's content.
  • Assist the Media Relations team with research, briefing preparation, and compiling BCG studies for key journalists.
  • Support the analysis and preparation of media reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in planning meetings and assist with operational tasks, such as database management and subscription oversight.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Currently enrolled in a postsecondary educational program or have completed relevant studies, preferably in business management, communications, or related fields.
  • A genuine passion for communication and creativity.
  • Strong writing skills, with some prior experience in journalism or communications preferred.
  • Interest in business topics and economic issues.
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce or similar tools is advantageous, as is experience with AI applications.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing software is a plus.
  • Fluent in both German and English.
TEAM ENVIRONMENT

You will be integrated into our Corporate Communications team across Central Europe, collaborating with colleagues from various offices. Your supervisors will provide guidance throughout your onboarding process and professional growth, ensuring you benefit from the collective expertise of your team.
