About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Robotics Software Engineer to join our team at Magazino GmbH. As a key member of our robotics team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge software solutions for our robots.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop a unified hardware abstraction layer for complex robots
  • Improve our distributed controller architecture for synchronized movements of the robots
  • Build a highly automated testing framework for our Low-level software
  • Enhance the error handling of hardware issues, including automatic recoveries
  • Develop logging and analysis tools for debugging issues with robots in the field
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in the robotics industry
  • Strong C++ and Python programming skills
  • Interest in testing complex software systems
  • Experience with control loops, kinematics, ROS1/2, CANopen, Embedded C++ development, and hardware-in-the-loop testing is a plus
  • Fluency in English
