As a Senior Data Analyst at Bauer Media Group, you will play a crucial role in helping the SEO team make informed decisions using data.

Our SEO team is responsible for delivering relevant content to the right users, and understanding the full user journey is key to achieving this goal. This involves connecting all data sources, reporting the team's success, finding potential for growth, and tracking the impact of measures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Being the first point of contact for the SEO team for all data-related questions
  • Working daily with the team to understand their challenges and help them incorporate data into their daily decision routines
  • Building analytics solutions along all steps of the decision-making process – from hypothesis generation, exploratory data analysis, and experimentation to monitoring
  • Connecting data from various sources, collaborating with our data product managers and engineers

Requirements include:

  • At least 4 years of experience in Data Analytics
  • Excellent SQL skills, as well as good knowledge in Python or R and BI solutions (PowerBI)
  • Solid knowledge of statistics and the ability to apply it to business problems
  • Fluent English, additional German is a plus
  • Work experience for an online publisher and/or with SEO is a plus
