Our MissionWe aim to establish a robust, open technological foundation for the next generation of private and secure messaging applications.
We are co-authors of the Messaging Layer Security (MLS) internet standard, which serves as the core of our research and development efforts in secure messaging.
We are founding members of various IETF working groups, where we collaborate with like-minded parties from academia and industry to develop internet standards with a focus on privacy and security.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a senior Rust engineer to contribute to the development of various components of our messaging application and adjacent projects.
As a member of our team, you will work on individual projects, taking responsibility for their success. You will also review the work of your colleagues and provide guidance with your expertise, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
Requirements- You are passionate about secure and private messaging.
- No prior expertise in security or privacy is required, but you are eager to expand your knowledge in these areas.
- You have experience in writing and deploying software to production environments.
- You have extensive experience with Rust programming.
- You enjoy working with network stacks, databases, and state machines.
- You are familiar with setting up and maintaining CI/CD systems.
- You are comfortable working in a remote-first team and possess excellent communication skills.
- You are based in a location compatible with European working hours.
