Head of Site EHS Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EHS professional to lead our site EHS team at Viatris Troisdorf. As the Head of Site EHS, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective EHS strategies and programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and contractors.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with local legislation and industry best practices.
- Manage and coach the EHS team to ensure they have the necessary skills and competencies to deliver high-quality EHS services.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to the business on EHS matters, including risk assessments, incident investigations, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regional EHS teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage EHS budgets and resources to ensure effective use of resources and delivery of EHS objectives.
- Ensure accurate and timely collection, reporting, and diagnosis of EHS data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in EHS, preferably with experience in a pharmaceutical or chemical cGMP manufacturing environment. You should have a master's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or a related discipline, and a certificate as SIFA (Sicherheitsfachkraft). You should also have a proven track record of operating as an EHS lead and managing a team.
You should be a strong communicator with excellent written and spoken English skills, and be able to work collaboratively in a matrix environment. You should also be able to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
