About the Role

Celonis, the global leader in Process Mining technology, is seeking a highly skilled Staff Product Designer to lead the experience and design of products that empower users to analyze task-level information and gain valuable insights to improve their processes.

As a Staff Product Designer, you will own key user journeys, shaping its vision in collaboration with Product and Engineering counterparts and driving its growth. Your primary focus will be on creating effective task mining tools and solutions that identify inefficiencies and their impact on the entire process while also understanding the needs of data engineers and business process analysts.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of products that empower users to analyze task-level information and gain valuable insights to improve their processes
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape a world-class design vision for task mining user journeys
  • Drive the growth of key user journeys, owning its vision and execution
  • Work alongside product managers, engineers, and fellow designers and researchers to ensure a seamless and cohesive experience
  • Understand and translate customers' needs into effective task mining solutions that drive efficiency and value
Requirements
  • Strong background in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Design, Data Design, Communication Design, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of proven experience as a UX/UI Designer within a software team
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding other designers
  • Domain experience in B2B or enterprise software products, especially for data users like Data Engineers and analysts
  • Strong understanding of data visualization, interaction design, usability engineering, and testing principles
  • Hands-on experience creating complex and interactive data visualizations
  • Excellent English communication skills; German communication skills are a plus
  • Familiarity in working with and contributing to Design Systems in Figma
  • Deep empathy for users and a user-centered design approach, with a keen eye for improving product usability
