Research Scientist Customer Facing Position

ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist Customer Facing to join our team at NDI Europe GmbH. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for supporting internal and external interfaces, analyzing and releasing changes, and supporting customers in the application of our products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support all internal and external interfaces and requests for functionality and changes to our products.
  • Analyze and release changes, support our customers in the application of our products, and examine the application environment on site.
  • Take on the key role of system architect for mechatronic systems with a special focus on electromagnetics and perform tasks as technical lead.
  • Dive deep into the research of future technologies, researching new technologies together with our development partners and carrying out feasibility studies.
  • Train our Product Integration Managers and support our sales team as a technical sales representative for new technologies, applications, and applications.

PROFILE

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a degree in physics, applied physics, or a comparable course of study. Ideally, you will have experience in mechatronic systems with a focus on electromagnetics, knowledge of medical technology (ISO, FDA, MDD/MMR), or a comparable safety-relevant industry. Knowledge of software development in C/C++ and/or Python is desirable.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain an effective communication style at all levels.
  • Business fluent in technical English.
  • Willingness to travel.
