Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage global procurement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company goals.
- Develop and implement detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to drive project success.
- Monitor project progress, identify areas for improvement, and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal results.
- Analyze current procurement processes and identify opportunities for cost savings and process enhancements.
- Implement best practices and industry standards to drive efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, maintaining a high level of integrity and transparency.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with global procurement activities, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and legal departments, to drive business growth and success.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and issues, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a project management role.
- Proven experience managing global procurement projects, with a strong track record of delivering results.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in procurement software, including SAP Ariba.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
