Job Title: Head of HSE Offshore

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HSE professional to lead our Offshore Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) team. As Head of HSE Offshore, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of HSE performance across our Offshore operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HSE strategies and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Lead the HSE team in conducting risk assessments, developing safety procedures, and providing training to employees and contractors.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor HSE performance and provide guidance to employees and contractors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders to stay informed about HSE developments and best practices.
  • Provide expert advice on HSE matters to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement incident investigation and reporting procedures to ensure timely and effective response to HSE incidents.
  • Lead the development and implementation of HSE training programs to ensure employees and contractors have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE leadership roles, preferably in the Offshore industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective HSE strategies and policies.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate employees and contractors.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
