Inventory Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Inventory Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing our inventory management processes, ensuring efficient operations and cost savings.

Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Control: Implement strategies to effectively manage inventory levels, minimizing unnecessary orders and unused materials.
  • Risk Mitigation: Conduct thorough analyses of existing inventory against future needs to identify potential overstock situations that could pose risks.
  • Demand Forecasting: Utilize historical data and forecasting models to accurately predict future demand for materials.
  • Range Optimization: Determine the ideal range of materials for each product line, balancing the need to avoid shortages with minimizing excess inventory.
  • Inventory Turnover: Develop and implement strategies to maximize inventory turnover rates, reducing capital tied up in stock and improving cash flow.
  • Scrap Management: Identify materials with no current demand and explore opportunities for responsible scrapping to optimize inventory levels.
  • Procurement Efficiency: Analyze procurement costs and order quantities to determine the optimal batch sizes that minimize expenses while ensuring timely delivery of materials.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare clear and concise reports on inventory performance, presenting findings and recommendations to management.
Qualifications:
  • Completed apprenticeship in industrial management or equivalent training with a minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse or materials management.
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP, particularly in material procurement and management modules.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, forecast trends, and assess risks.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively with procurement, production, and other departments.
  • Adaptable and flexible to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Fluent English language proficiency is essential.
