Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Application Specialist DACH Region to join our team in Berlin, Germany. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical guidance and support to our customers in the DACH region.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers on product applications, specifications, and compliance.
- Collaborate with development and product line management teams to identify areas for product improvement and compliance with regional standards.
- Analyze competitors' products and provide feedback to development teams.
- Focus on high-margin product sets and customers to ensure long-term success.
Requirements
- University Engineering Degree.
- 3+ years of experience in Telecom or Datacom.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Windows, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio.
- Strong German writing and speaking skills, with English as the operational internal language.
Desired Skills
- FTTH network design.
- Good hand skills, including basic mechanical, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
Soft Skills
- Ability to work comfortably in a team and support others.
- Ability to lead meetings and communicate internally.
- Ability to listen to customers and work with difficult customers patiently.
Travel Requirements
25% travel required, primarily in continental Europe, with flexibility to travel within the EMEA region.
Hours of Work
Minimum 40-hour week, with some weekend work or travel required.
Job Location
Berlin, Germany, with alternative location in Hagen, Germany.
