The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supplier Manager to join our refreshed IT/OT Procurement and Supplier Management team. As a key member of our global team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects across RWE's businesses, including Renewables, Energy Trading, and more.

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with high-value IT vendors and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
  • Lead change projects and implement process improvements, driving operational efficiency and governance.
  • Define and implement operational governance structures, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Monitor vendor performance, ensuring alignment with service-level agreements and contracts.
  • Collaborate with Procurement Business Partners to capture and understand current and future demand, driving strategic planning and contract management.
  • Work closely with Procurement Category Teams to develop and define sourcing strategies, ensuring performance evaluation and adaptation.
  • Collaborate with team members, delegating tasks and supporting development.

Your Profile

  • Proven experience in supplier management and procurement practices.
  • Strong knowledge of IT/OT supply markets, with a keen interest in current trends and threats.
  • Excellent financial acumen and influencing skills.
  • High flexibility, attention to detail, and willingness to adapt to new approaches.
  • Strong organizational, change, and project management skills, with the ability to deliver results and work collaboratively.
  • Excellent proficiency in English; German language skills beneficial but not essential.
