Software Engineer in Quality Assurance

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer in Test to join our team at Tipico. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our Product Managers to define requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Develop and maintain automated tests in Java, including endpoints and load/performance testing
  • Support developers in debugging activities and contribute to code reviews
  • Work in a highly collaborative and agile environment to develop products and create technical solutions

Requirements

  • University Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with Payments or financial Applications/Services in the FinTech industry
  • Test Automation skills, including writing test cases and using Unit testing and mocking frameworks (JUnit and REST-Assured)
  • Solid experience with Test Management Tools (Zephyr)
  • Minimum 3 years of proven professional experience with Java
  • Familiarity with using Selenium, Cucumber, or Playwright
  • Understanding and desire to write and read clean codes
  • Rudimental understanding of SQL
  • Knowledge of testing in an agile environment
  • Fluent in English
