Public Relations Assistant

About This Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Public Relations Assistant to join our dynamic team at Bicester Village. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping and executing public relations strategies that elevate our brand image and drive positive media coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of creative PR campaigns to promote events and news related to Bicester Village.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and key media contacts within the fashion and lifestyle sectors.
- Assist in drafting compelling press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials that effectively convey our brand message.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure seamless alignment between PR initiatives and overall marketing objectives.
- Support the coordination of partnerships and collaborations with renowned fashion brands and designers to enhance Bicester Village's reputation and visibility within the luxury market.
- Provide administrative support, including managing calendars, organizing meetings, and maintaining PR materials inventory.
- Monitor media coverage and compile press clippings for analysis and reporting purposes.
About You
- Possess a degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent computer skills.
- Have a strong understanding of the luxury retail industry and its key players.
- Exhibit exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Demonstrate a proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and contribute to the team's success.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German is highly desirable.
