Strategic EMEA Sales Leader Opportunity

About the RoleThis highly rewarding position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic international manufacturer of activated carbon filters and ion exchangers. As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales area, which encompasses the EMEA region, and leading interdisciplinary teams.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have extensive experience in industrial sales, preferably with knowledge of ion exchangers. A technical degree in chemistry, process engineering, or mechanical engineering is also highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities- Develop strategic market plans for the EMEA region, focusing on partner networks and the ion exchange business unit.
- Motivate and develop 60 international sales employees and their assigned area managers.
- Provide assistance in personal customer meetings within the EMEA region, if required.
- Take ownership of sales responsibility for approximately €30m.
- Directly report to the Global Commercial Director.
- Monitor the market and identify trends at an early stage.
- A relevant technical degree in chemistry, process engineering, or general mechanical engineering.
- At least five years' experience in industrial sales, preferably with strong experience of ion exchangers.
- Alternatively, knowledge of industrial water treatment or experience in food & beverage, chemical industry, or related sectors.
- Proven experience in technical management of national teams is desired but not required.
- Familiarity with industrial markets and their players.
- A strong service mentality, both internally and externally.
- Excellent technical understanding and social and interpersonal skills.
- A motivating, enthusiastic, and stress-resistant personality.
- A high level of identification with the product being sold.
- A willingness to learn quickly and adapt to new ways of working and acting.
- A willingness to travel internationally within the EMEA region (60%).
- Living in the EMEA region.
- Fluency in English; other languages are an advantage.
- Good user knowledge of common MS Office programs.
- A high level of trust from the outset.
