About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled SRE Engineer to join our team at Deutsche Bank Technology in Berlin. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for providing 24x7 availability of our strategic Cash Data and Core Banking applications.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Implement and improve Production Monitoring, Impact assessment, and Resolution processes in close collaboration with Development and Production teams.
- Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams on Production releases; Ensure system stability through enhancement/maintenance periods.
- Run stability projects to increase resilience and recovery speed, to improve end-to-end traceability and transparency of the business flows.
- Discover the root causes and find solutions in collaboration with development teams - explore source code, databases, application logs; Drive end-to-end project to improve supportability, application logs, transactions tracing.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Multi-year experience in the areas of SRE and providing Production stability for global 24x7 transaction processing platforms.
- Solid technical background on servers, storages, networks, databases, software development processes; Knowledge of Messaging, Database solutions, Unix, CI/CD tools (Jenkins is a plus).
- Background in one Software engineering professions – Development, Quality Assurance, DevOps; Ability to write scripts/code on a programming language (good Bash/Python/Groovy knowledge is a plus).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
