As a Senior Expert in Credit Management and Order-to-Cash Operations, you will play a crucial role in protecting people from cardiovascular disease and helping patients who suffer from it to enjoy every precious moment of life.

The position involves designing and maintaining the End-to-End Order-to-Cash and Credit Management process, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal policies while conducting thorough risk management and executing strategic financial forecasts. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, aligning, and maintaining the End-to-end Order-to-Cash and Credit Management process and all related policies according to IFRS and internal company policies
  • Reviewing and executing along the accounts receivables process, including payment terms setting, customer and receivables risk categorization and risk management as well as implications on cash and working capital
  • Performing regular customer monitoring via external agencies
  • Designing, implementing, and executing regular KPI monitoring, analyses, and forecasts with regards to cash, credits, receivables, and customers as well as reporting to all relevant stakeholders
  • Performing transactional receivables accounting including reconciliations, discrepancy resolution, master data management, credit limit assessments, and credit limit changes, shipping blocks as well as support of dunning and collections process in cooperation with local Finance Directors, Customer Service, Commercial, and Controlling Teams
  • Supporting and executing bad debt financial treatment in line with policies and IFRS standards and initiating mitigation and legal actions in close cooperation with Customer Service and Legal and according to IFRS and internal company policies

Requirements

  • Successfully completed studies in Economics, Business Administration, or a successfully completed Finance-related professional education
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in Credit Management, Risk Management, (Internal) Audit, or Accounting in an internationally operating company or several years of relevant experience in Financial Audit or Accounting advisory
  • Good knowledge in Finance and Accounting
  • Solid experience in project work and process design as well as implementation in Finance & Accounting, ideally in the environment of global business services, shared services, or in transformation contexts
  • Good understanding of the End-to-end Order-to-Cash and Credit Management process, good knowledge in other Finance and Accounting processes as well as in IFRS
  • Good knowledge of SAP R/3, SAP ECC, or S/4 HANA and MS-Office
  • Business fluent English in writing and conversations, good to very good conversational German
  • Good communication skills with a convincing and goal-oriented manner
  • Very high customer and service orientation, ability to work in teams as well as a strong affinity to work in a cross-functional and international environment
  • Accurate and proactive way of working
