Your Responsibilities- Manage and develop the SQL AlwaysOn database cluster
- Perform system analyses and troubleshooting (memory leaks, deadlocks, performance)
- Monitor, track, and alert on system performance
- Develop and automate our database systems
- Support the implementation and development of our backup and recovery concept
- Define and implement role-based access control (least privilege principle)
- Evaluate security requirements from our certifications and create corresponding system documentation
- Completed studies in computer science or equivalent professional experience in database administration and network administration
- Expertise in Microsoft SQL (or alternative databases)
- Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, storage, and virtualization, as well as various network layers (TCP/IP protocol family)
- Experience in hardware firewalls, antivirus software, and patch management
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including on-call duty
- Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken, are essential
