About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Sidekick Health Germany. As an Analytics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data models for our data warehouse, using dbt and Google BigQuery, to enhance business intelligence and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data models for the data warehouse, using dbt and Google BigQuery to support robust business intelligence and reporting frameworks.
- Act as a central figure in the data team, bridging technical and business users to ensure data structures meet business needs and improve data flow and accessibility across the organization.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data products through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Support the technical aspects of data pipeline maintenance.
Requirements
- Master's degree (or equivalent through work experience) in computer science, software/computer engineering, mathematics, physics or other relevant fields.
- Industrial experience as an analytics engineer (or similar), 3+ years.
- Excellent SQL skills.
- Experience in dimensional modeling and data warehousing.
- Experience working with Google Big Query/Azure Synapse or similar cloud computing products.
- Experience using dbt/Google dataform.
- Ability to perform both in a team environment and independently.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
