About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team and drive sales growth. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our stores deliver a premium level of customer service, monitoring key performance indicators, and planning expenses for short and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Ensure our store team delivers exceptional customer service, meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis to drive sales growth and improve store performance.
- Expense Planning: Plan and manage expenses to ensure short and long-term success, including staff costs, inventory, and operational expenses.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a high-performing team, ensuring they are aware of sales targets and KPIs and contribute to achieving store goals.
- Loss Prevention: Monitor and investigate incidents of stock loss, ensuring that it is reported to the Retail team and taking necessary action to protect the company's inventory and assets.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in retail management, with a strong understanding of retail concepts, including gross margin, markdowns, and visual merchandising.
- Leadership Skills: Strong initiative and leadership skills, with the ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Business Acumen: A strong understanding of business principles, including financial management, inventory control, and operational efficiency.
