Nanogami is a pioneering startup in the field of DNA Origami-based nanotechnology. Our team is driven by a shared vision: to develop novel biochips that unlock applications in research and diagnostics. We are seeking a motivated Plasmonics Scientist to work with us at the interface of science and technology.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop plasmonic DNA origami nanostructures for integration into advanced biochips.
- Establish methods for the functionalization of metallic nanoparticles and integration into DNA nanostructures.
- Set up assays and workflows for characterization of custom plasmonic nanostructures.
- Perform experiments to produce functional plasmonic nanostructures.
- Develop plasmonic nanostructures to enable enhanced molecular functions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize system performance.
- Manage R&D projects with autonomy and initiative.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in physics, chemistry, materials science, nanotechnology, or a related field.
- Extensive expertise in nanoparticle functionalization and synthesis.
- Strong experience in nanostructure development and characterization.
- Ability to analyze and interpret plasmonic signals.
- Knowledge of techniques such as TIRFM and confocal microscopy.
- Experience in bioconjugation of proteins.
- Creative and independent work style.
- Team player with initiative and enthusiasm.
- Fluent English skills.
