Our team is driven by a shared vision: to develop novel biochips that unlock applications in research and diagnostics. We are seeking a motivated Plasmonics Scientist to work with us at the interface of science and technology.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop plasmonic DNA origami nanostructures for integration into advanced biochips.
  • Establish methods for the functionalization of metallic nanoparticles and integration into DNA nanostructures.
  • Set up assays and workflows for characterization of custom plasmonic nanostructures.
  • Perform experiments to produce functional plasmonic nanostructures.
  • Develop plasmonic nanostructures to enable enhanced molecular functions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize system performance.
  • Manage R&D projects with autonomy and initiative.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in physics, chemistry, materials science, nanotechnology, or a related field.
  • Extensive expertise in nanoparticle functionalization and synthesis.
  • Strong experience in nanostructure development and characterization.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret plasmonic signals.
  • Knowledge of techniques such as TIRFM and confocal microscopy.
  • Experience in bioconjugation of proteins.
  • Creative and independent work style.
  • Team player with initiative and enthusiasm.
  • Fluent English skills.
