Controller/Enterprise Application Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Controller/Application Owner to join our team at BeWunder. As a key member of our application management team, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of our eGecko application in the BeWunder environment across Europe and the Middle East.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the eGecko system. You will also be responsible for continuous maintenance and further development of the eGecko system structures and processes, as well as the further development of the eGecko application in coordination with key stakeholders.
Additionally, you will create and further develop monthly eGecko reports, serve as a contact person and sparring partner for colleagues in the accounting department for eGecko user support, and provide training and knowledge transfer to end users.
As a seasoned professional, you will identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices, ensuring the correct database in the overall financial system, and support in the preparation of interfaces to external systems.
With a strong background in application management or IT operations, you will maintain the system basis, including creating and adapting cost units, G/L accounts, cost types, cost centers, etc.
About You- You are a native German speaker and fluent in English.
- You have solid knowledge and previous experience in eGecko administration.
- You have proven experience as a Controller with a focus on Power BI development or in a similar role where Power BI development was a significant component of the role.
- You have several years of professional experience in a similar role in application management or IT operations.
- You are proficient in developing, designing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards, demonstrating a deep understanding of Power BI's capabilities.
- You have sound knowledge of managing enterprise applications and infrastructures.
- You have experience with agile methods.
- You possess excellent analytical skills, demonstrated through the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- You have strong problem-solving skills with a high degree of initiative and very good communication skills (both written and verbal).
