Senior Manager Software Development Lead

As a Senior Manager Software Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and customer satisfaction across multiple markets. You will lead a smaller, yet rapidly expanding team, and have the opportunity to make a significant impact.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic technical leadership and direction for your engineering team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their business needs and challenges, and develop effective solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Lead the design and development of innovative solutions, leveraging current technical landscapes and integrating marketing technologies to drive business success.
  • Guide, mentor, and inspire colleagues within the team and across functions, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide career development opportunities to help team members grow and succeed.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues that may arise during the software development lifecycle, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Actively contribute to software development, including coding, debugging, testing, and code reviews, to maintain code quality and technical proficiency.
  • Oversee the execution of projects, initiatives, and use cases with business stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery and meeting business objectives.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including solution diagrams, architecture designs, integration, and configuration details, to support business decision-making.

Your Profile:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in software development in the JS ecosystem and/or implementing technical solutions for businesses, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience working with business stakeholders across functions, including Marketing, Sales, Service, Product, Finance, Operations, etc., and a strong affinity for solving business problems.
  • Leadership experience in motivating and guiding engineering teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Passion for building high-quality software and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Effective project management skills, with a focus on delivering complex projects with high attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms, such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.
  • Professional experience writing TypeScript and Terraform.
