Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team at Syntegon Technology GmbH. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting financial statements to the Group in accordance with IFRS and German GAAP (HGB).

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial statements to the Group.
  • Support entities and provide advice to stakeholders from an accounting and process perspective.
  • Proactively improve accounting processes and drive the implementation of solutions for optimizing and harmonizing processes.
  • Act as the point of contact for assigned units, auditors, tax advisors, authorities, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Tax, or a similar field.
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in Accounting functions.
  • Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting standards, and ideally (German) tax law.
  • Excellent analytical skills, a high level of engagement, and an independent and structured approach to work.
  • Comprehensive experience with SAP R/3 in the FI module.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken, and comfortable in an international environment. Good German language skills are required.
  • Excellent teamwork skills, reliability, and a strong results-oriented mindset.
