Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Investment Manager to join our Investment Management Team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to our growth in new business opportunities in Germany. Your primary responsibilities will include supervision of underwriting, transaction activities, and internal and external reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the analysis of new investment and development opportunities performed by junior colleagues, providing feedback and input, and ensuring the quality of the full underwriting process.
- Source and develop new fitting investment opportunities via market and network engagement, leading deal teams through the acquisition process until deal closings, including managing and reviewing Due Diligence and conducting contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with investor relations and oversee the preparation of business plans and reporting, developing Investment Committee memos for internal and external stakeholders.
- 5-10 years of related work experience, including international experience in Investment Banking of Real Estate.
- Master's degree in (Business) Economics, Business Administration, or Real Estate.
- High-energy personality, self-starting, and strong capability to work with agents and internal stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of the real estate market and transactions, deal-oriented approach, and strong work ethic.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills in combination with a detailed understanding of real estate economics and mechanics.
- Established network in the German and International Real Estate Investment Environment.
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, networking, and presentation skills (German and English).
- Ability to lead deal teams, partner across teams, summarize issues, and develop comprehensive investment proposals.
- Highly proficient in Excel.
- Ability to cope with time pressure and work in a dynamic environment while handling multiple projects.
