Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Product Owner to join our data tribe. As a key strategic position, this role will play a critical part in driving business improvements through data-driven insights and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including marketing, product, and finance teams, to understand their needs and priorities.
  • Work closely with our data teams to convert initiatives from proof-of-concept to successful products, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for data to drive business improvements, leveraging your understanding of the business needs and broader strategy.
  • Contribute to the vision and strategy for data, particularly around data governance and quality.
  • Manage development projects, coordinating priorities and communicating progress to stakeholders.
  • Drive adoption of data products, leading stakeholders to get the best use of our data.
  • Deliver technical training and build insights in collaboration with our data science and analytics teams.

Requirements

  • Proven record of converting business requirements into product specifications, particularly as it relates to data products.
  • Experience managing multiple projects in an agile environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Extensive experience delivering data and insights through effective visualization and narrative building.
  • Clear understanding of the challenges and opportunities of working with large, volatile, and heterogeneous datasets.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are valued.
  • Strong technical competencies in SQL, data modeling, analysis, statistical analysis, and visualization.
